A few words on the Occupy Wall Street protests

The protests are not about self-made rich folks who provided useful products that led to their riches, such as Steve Jobs (RIP) or Fred Smith (FedEx) or even Bill Gates (Microsoft).

It is about WALL STREET — the bankers & investment companies that make money by using money, mostly taxpayer & pension fund money. It is about the staggering debt load that students have to bear to get a decent education. It is about the lack of jobs & hope.

Capitalism for the benefit of the uber-rich is unAmerican.

The protests are part of the same frustration that created the Tea Party – but with different focuses.
