Are American politics absurd enough?

This article asks a good question — and then proceeds to answer it with one example. I would humbly suggest that there are probably a thousand and one more examples, but the one of the Pentagon being the only agency that is not audited and them being unable to even tell where they are spending the money We the People are taxed to give to them? That one is beyond absurd into the realm of criminal negligence and, okay, I will say it, EVIL.

This sort of thing is why so many people become libertarians. (Well, that and being selfish and greedy, but that’s another post.)
